About
I provide guided one-on-one online SAT tutoring that gets results. Online tutoring is very convenient and efficient and enables students to get competent in SAT concepts quicker and easier than an in-person tutor.
Many students and parents believe the SAT to be an IQ test and therefore something that cannot be prepared for. That is certainly NOT the case. The SAT is a standardized test that can be prepared for. Many students are unfamiliar with the format of the test which accounts for them considering it hard. But once they are introduced to the ways of looking at the test and unlocking the techniques and strategies, the test becomes manageable.
Making the test manageable and having students feeling confident about taking it is my goal. In addition, I have a complete SAT preparation guide that students can use for reference and self-study if they are so inclined.
I have uncompromising standards and will do whatever it takes to get a student prepared for the SAT. References are listed on my website: http://smashthesat.com.
I enjoy working with students and helping them lose their fear of the SAT and seeing that fear turn into confidence! That is what I am passionate about.
