I am currently a highschool student myself. I'm a 18 yr old senior with a 3.6 GPA. I strive to teach other students the techniques that get me past hard assignments and get me some amazing grades. I have more than 2yrs of tutoring experience and I tutor students from kindergarten to 12 grade. During sessions I don't just settle with teaching my client I also get to know them and use what I learn about them in my lessons. My main purpose of starting tutoring early is of course financial side help for college but to meet new people, broaden my social awareness of others and help others with what I struggled with in school and let them know there will always be another way when it comes to school and the help not given by some teachers. I hope you parents can trust your child in my care. I welcome feedback from parents in order to better my services for their child as well.

She is a great communicator. I know her from class and she helped me with my work and kindly let me off with just ten dollars when she knew she needed the money for personal things. She let me pick the amount I wanted to pay and she was great with retracting the formulas that our teacher taught us. I didn’t understand none of it but she helped me. She is smart and even has the highest grade in class too.

She is a great tutor and she was a little shy but I think she has a great spirit and once getting used to her she is comfortable to talk to and she makes it easy to converse with because she not only tutors but even asks off topics things like favorite anime questions and has good taste in anime by the way. The only thing I can say was wrong was just her family in the background but I’m sure she will just find a better sitting area.

She wasn’t bad but she does need to work on finding a better space to have her tutoring in because I think her family was too loud in the background but what can she do she is a teen still. She is smart and has great techniques for helping students especially with my precalc. She helped me get a 95 on my precalc quiz in unit three.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Working with new students I first ask about how school life is going most times and ask what they struggle in. I then learn more about them in a school setting and get into the lesson and figure out the best way to help this student. I use zoom as my sessions platform of communication also.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Training wise I have tutored more than 25 students in 2 years of my experience. Most of those students were reoccuring sessions. Educational knowledge plays a role in my experience, all my knowledge comes from me still being in school for the time being. Meaning the work is all still fresh which is better for my teaching.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Depending on the hours in a session the prices for an hour session would just double if that session turns into 2 hours and so on. For an hour and 30 min session it would be the original price plus half that original price.
How did you get started teaching?
I started for the finances as a side job due to not being able to get a job being young. I want around school helping students with their work or doing it for them and found it was easy and decided to find a website that would help me make this business into an official platform for myself and I found myself here.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with nice students, kids who get distracted easily, kids that walk away from the screen and come back later with new and a wide range of questions, kids whose parents need to sit near in order for them to focus, goods kids who listen and stay focus, teens who need more help to get by in class, teens who are jumbled in a mess of school work and their jobs, etc.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had a senior come to me and say she was struggling with work from a teacher who jusr wasn't helping her enough so she heard from my friend that I could help and next thing I know she came back to me passing the class and thanking me for my help. She was my first client and now with her review and feedback I was able to get word around about my services and I was able to help a few people throughout my school and earn money as well.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advise them to make sure they are getting the best help because it wouldn't be fair to them to pay all this money to a teacher who isn't really helping them in the subject nor are they giving them advice on what's better for their education.
