Obtaining her tutoring services has been one of the best decisions that I have ever made. It was a great investment. I used another in home tutoring service in the past and I saw no progress with that agency. I would definitely recommend her for tutoring services for any parent seeking services! Job well done.

I never thought that my child would enjoy leaving school to go to tutoring for more school work, but it was what he needed. The day he told me that it was time to go so that he wouldnt be late for tutoring is when I realized that his tutor is special. He actually looks forward to his sessions. I am not real sure what you all do but I am and will forever be grateful for the confidence you have given my child to succeed in everything that is put in his path.

Before our children started going to a tutor, they lacked the fundamental tools needed to properly grow academically. The public school teachers seemed overwhelmed with students with different learning abilities, and as a result, a lot of students are advancing grade levels without the knowledge needed to become successful. Thats where Building Foundations comes in. Alexandrias attention to detail is what puts her above other tutoring service weve come across. Her ability to pin point a childs weakness, nurture it, and build it into his/her strength is amazing. My 2nd grader was on a kindergartner reading level before we started going to Building Foundations. By the end of the school year, (about 6 months later), my second graders reading improved so much, her teacher had to move her to a more advance reading group. Im extremely satisfied with Building Foundations services, and although our children are on the level the school system wants them on, they will continue going to tutoring for further advancement.

Working with Building Foundations for my 8-year old’s tutoring has been life changing for him. A smart kid who we noticed slowly falling behind, we sought a tutor who could engage him and help him find his love for learning. Mrs. Ford has done exactly that. Since she started working with him, rather than complaining about doing his school work, he quickly agrees to do it and he doesn’t rush to finish, instead focusing on doing his best. He’s been known to say, “Daddy, I’m reading because I want to.”, “I love Ms. Alexandria”, and “I like doing well in school.” Comments we never heard before working with Building Foundations to improve his skills and excite him to be a great student. Mrs. Ford is an excellent tutor using a creative, hands-on curriculum to engage our son to do his best!
