My name is Anneka and I am currently a freshman at Emory University. I am from Los Angeles, but went to boarding school in Pebble Beach, California for high school. As you can see on my resume, I took both AP Calculus AB and BC and received 5’s on both exams. I took AB first before immediately jumping to BC because I felt I didn’t have a solid foundation on the subject. I took a year between Calculus Honors and BC Calculus to take AB to really master the subject. I know the AP exam like the back of my hand and have learned from the best teachers how to truly understand calculus and how to pass the exam with flying colors. I also tutored my peers in calculus while I was in high school and competed in Mathletics, a regional math competition, receiving an Honorable Mention. I have an extremely flexible schedule in the afternoon as my classes are in the morning or early afternoon. I would love to meet for an interview to make sure that you are comfortable with me as a tutor. Please feel free to reach out with any other questions.

Anneka was a great tutor! I always felt comfortable around her and she never made me feel bad for not understanding something. She truly just wants you to learn! My grade in my math class went up because of her!
I've had experience myself with test anxiety and know how to work with that obstacle. I also know how to teach according to the student's learning style, whether it be visual or by going through the motions. My teaching style is mainly question based - I like the student to come by the conclusion on their own with my help instead of me simply telling them the answer.
I took Calculus for three years and tutored for two years. I just went the process of studying and preparing for the AP calculus test twice and know exactly what to expect and how to prep.
No, I go by the individual mainly depending on distance. I'm relatively flexible on salary.
I started volunteering as a math tutor two years ago.
