Robbie's English Tutoring
About
My name is Robbie Archer. I'm a recent graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelors degree in English: Rhetoric and Composition. I also attended Savannah College of Art and Design for a year focusing on Writing. I am very passionate about literature, writing, poetry, plays, screenplays, lyrics, speeches, spoken word, and stories. I was the book worm through school. I can tutor your student in any kind of writing, including personal speaking, or presentations, as well as in literary analysis, and grammar. I have a Georgia Educator Ethics certificate. I have been on the Dean's List for multiple semesters from both SCAD and GSU. I have my own poetry blog as well a portfolio which I will include the link to below.

I love to read. My library fills an entire room. I go to a Shakespeare play every month. I can read twelve hours straight and have done it too many times to count. I love to write and to analyze writing and all the things that go with it: methaphors, similes, allegories, anecdotes, diction, foreshadowing, flashback, imagery, etc. There are hundereds of literary terms. I love presenting and have achieved highest marks and praises in my presentations. I love teaching and seeing people not only fully understand what I'm trying to teach them, but enjoy it and have discussions about it.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Well first I listen to the parent's about the child, because the parent's know the child the best. If they are asking for my service then I will ask them what they're goals are for the student. Then I focus on the student's homework, his tests, his essays, what he's studying and hone in on what he needs to improve the most.
