Private Edge is a tutoring center for Mathematics and Entrepreneurship. We offer math tutoring to grades K-12 for Arithmetic, Common Core, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus. We also offer entrepreneurship courses to prepare our children for the next stages of life which include courses on finances, taxes, law and more.
Most school systems don't offer these business programs to our kids, and they make up such a huge part of the next stages of life. Our goal is to make every graduate self-sufficient and fully confident about life after school, so they can take the reigns and achieve at their highest level.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We focus on working one-on-one and in group sessions depending on the needs of each individual student. Everyone learns differently, so we know we can't teach everyone in the same way. We find out how you learn and then teach you in the style necessary to help you the most.
How did you get started teaching?
We got started teaching when we realized the educational gap between school and real life. Our entrepreneurial courses basically fill in the '13th grade' that students often miss. The courses that teach you about how to invest, how to do your taxes, and how to set up a business.
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with students of all ages, who speak either English or Spanish.
