Hello. My name is Jose Colipano, a mathematics educator for 24 years. I love educating kids and develop in them the love for math. I have taught in all levels: elementary, middle, and high school math. I have two master's degrees from Florida Atlantic University.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually start by diagnosing the areas that the students need. I start with basic skills and move towards the challenging ones. I want my students to ask a lot of questions during the tutorials.

I am a Math educator for 24 years. I have two master's degrees from Florida Atlantic University.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
60 dollars per session for 1.5 hours. I can extend for an additional 30 minutes as the need arises or if the student needs more time to practice the skills. The thirty-minute extension is free of charge.
How did you get started teaching?
I was inspired by my high school math teacher. I was able to love math because of that. I decided to take education in college and major in math.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with almost all kinds of students including ESE and ELLs.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The tutor needs to be passionate and knowledgeable in teaching the subject.
