What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I love to first get to know you and ask you a few questions based on the level of math you are in.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Senior in South Florida. I will be graduating soon. I have done all the classes in which I checked off.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My started pricing is $40 hourly.
How did you get started teaching?
I love giving back to my community. Everyone should have the chance to learn from someone else. Have a different point of view in math.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with Middle and High schoolers. Not so many Elemantar.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was in a convience store buying milk and a girl approched me asking if I was a tutor. I happily said yes and sat down with her for an hour explaing her materials.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone who is engaging with you. Don't hire someone that is just talking and ranting. Choose your tutor wisely. Read there backgorund.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask questions that you need to be answered. Don't let anyone stop you from questioning.
