I offer a warm friendly face to Math. It can be stressful and I can help you understand it better. I can help make it less scary.
I love it when my students click with the subject. The light in their eyes when it finally makes sense or that again moment is a blessing to see. I remember the moment Math made sense for me. It was 7th grade. My teacher went the extra mile to help me when I was struggling. It was the extra help that made Math fun for me.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently seeking degrees in Early Childhood Education & Development as well as Health Science.
How did you get started teaching?
I have teach in my previous profession in healthcare. I love sharing my knowledge with others. Tutoring adds to that passion.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with elementary to high school students as well as adult learners.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
That would be the birth of my son this year. It was an experince I will never forgot. I am enjoying watching him grow and explore his new world.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't take this process lightly. I try to make sure I connect with my students. Learning is fun. It can be stressful but remember to have fun with it even when it is hard.
