My name is LeAnne Carangelo, and I am proud to bring over 18 years of dedicated experience as a middle school Language Arts teacher. In addition to my extensive background in Language Arts, I have spent 6 years specializing in Special Education, focusing on middle school English Language Arts. I hold a Master of Education degree in Special Education, which has equipped me with the skills and insights needed to support diverse learners. i am a semi-retired man. I was trained as a scientist and an engineer. i have many years of field experience. i've been on research cruises, lived and worked on remote islands in the Pacific and met Presidents. I worked in water resources, solar power, coastal sciences and climate change policy. i have taught high school students, community college students elementary school principals and upward bound. teaching is a fun way of helping. my approach is to ask questions and come up with odd examples which may be funny...im good at it.

I have been tutoring for several years and have ALWAYS gotten results. But you have to work as well, or else the results will be minimal. I can teach you read better, write better, and create an eportfolio resume that will help get you a job as well,

I’m a retired Language Arts teacher certified from the state of Maine in K-8 Education. I taught 5-8 LA and science and was a Highly Qualufied teacher. I enjoy tutoring in all middle and elementary school subjects and especially writing skills. I was an English major in college and strongly believe in the love of reading to support learning. I understand the state testing and demands of students ability to test well. And I love the relationship built with sudents and families.

Learning to read is the window to the rest of your life is my motto. For without learning to read life becomes really difficult to navigate. I enjoy teaching children to read for it is rewarding when they make their first letter sound to writing full sentances and reading full paragraphs. Working with children is a rewarding experience and is my calling in life. The calling to help children to become the best they can be. I began my experience as a reading counselor for an afterschool program and after several years I had the honor of becoming the Director of the Program which I ran for several years. I was able to see their growth from start...
