I graduated from Warner University with a BA in 'Social Science Education 6 - 12'. Beginning my teaching career in 2013 in Polk County, Florida. In the span of 11 years, I have taught grades 5th - 12th in both the public (regular, advanced, and gifted classes) and private sector. Currently, I am the lead teacher for all core subjects in middle school (ELA, Science, Math, and Social Studies). I am high-energy and dedicated to the progress and success of each student I encounter.

I have been working with children for over about half a year now through my church. Through this opportunity, I have gained experience in teaching large classes of elementary-age children Bible lessons on Sundays and in serving as a camp counselor for our one-week Vacation Bible School. I have also had the chance to work with middle school and high school youth who attend the church, acting as a small group leader for middle school girls and as a camp counselor/leader in the summer. I’m a mom, spouse and teacher. I have 3 girls that currently work online through FLVS. I have a Montessori credential and have experience teaching for the MDCPS system. I found my passion for helping students that struggle with Reading and Math while working as an Interventionist several years ago.
