About
I know how to convey topics that can be more challenging to understand, I have study mathematics, the sciences and various other topics in depth so I can help at many levels.
I enjoy being able to convey new topics and ideas to others. I think it's cool to be able to see when someone understands, they feel better about their situation. I also enjoy being able review topics to ensure that I understand what is being asked

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process is the first figure out what the student understands already. I then progress on to topics that he or she is unfamiliar with, I then break it down step-by-step to see where he or she might not be understanding, I try to give multiple ways for the student to understand it. Once they understand the topic at hand, I review to make sure that they understand the topic.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an 11th grader who has taken upper level math classes up to calculus. I also study biology as that is one of my core subjects, it is IB biology which is a college level curriculum course. I take various other IB classes that help me prepare for college and also understanding of in depth knowledge of each topic. I also review older topics to make sure I still understand the fundamentals
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I normally charge around $20-$30 an hour depending on the subject, and the difficulty, sessions are usually cheaper for elementary and middle school level classes. It all depends and that is discussed more in depth when one contacts me
How did you get started teaching?
I started tutoring in the 10th grade with national honor Society, I did this for community service hours, helping other students learn mathematics.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with various students with different skill levels, it is noticeable that some will understand topics quicker than others But I am willing to help anyone out, and I will give my best to make sure that they will understand the topic
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event I am fond of is the end of semester exams. I have done well on many of my exams and I am preparing for the end of junior year
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Some advice I would give is find someone who is accommodating, someone who also charges a fair price, and someone who you can get along with well, that is very important as the student will be interacting with the tutor, and if they cannot talk or do not get along with the tutor, it will be hard for them to learn.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
One of the biggest things is to figure out what you do not understand. Saying "I don't get it" and not backing up why they do not get it can make it hard for the teacher to understand what the problem is.
