About

I am a recently graduated high school senior attending an Ivy League University and was accepted into Harvard, Yale, Stanford, and Georgetown. I have extensive experience tutoring as well as advising peers in college applications. I have taken over 20 AP classes and passed all exams with marks of well qualified and extremely well qualified. I graduated Summa Cum Laude and hold a 4. 00 unweighted GPA. I also hold a score of 1550 out of 1600 on the SAT and 34 out of 36 on the ACT. I am also a native speaker of Spanish.

I enjoy helping students grow and achieve their goals. I can relate to experiencing that feeling of frustration when you do not understand a problem, but often times it just takes that one person to guide you to a delightful "Eureka" moment.

Alejandro is the best tutor I have ever had. From my experience, I did not have a solid background in algebra I. He worked endlessly to ensure that I would understand all of the concepts, even quizzing me at random times. The work he puts into his students is inspiring. He invests hours and energy into every person he tutors. Hard subjects turn into easy ones under his wing, and I can assure anyone that you WILL learn from him. I cannot thank him enough for helping me out on my ACT. Because of him, my score improved by 7 points. Alejandro is someone to learn from, and youre doing a mistake if he is not your tutor.

Frequently asked questions

During our first session, I will usually ask the student about his/her background in a given subject and will inquire about performance in classes taken related to that subject. I will inquire into what the student found most challenging about that given subject as well as the student's preferred learning student style in order for me to modify my tutoring lessons to meet that student's particular needs.
