Hi! I am an NYU graduate with three years of tutoring experience specializing in innovative cognitive approaches to teaching children academic material. My invaluable teaching experience and literary expertise, as well as my experience tutoring for SAT and AP, make me an ideal candidate as your tutor. I currently tutor remotely over Zoom and/or Skype and offer competitive prices for the best and most effective, innovative tutoring services. I will first spend a session or two getting to know you and your child's needs, learning styles, and the specific areas where improvement is needed. Then I will work through a dynamic plan to help you and your child reach your goals. My approach is completely tailored to you and your child, and I /never/ use the same exact approach with every student.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
-in-depth conversation about their strengths and goals in their class, systematically review what schoolwork they are currently struggling with, get to know their interests and motivation styles
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from NYU with honors in English & Comparative Literature in 2020 and have spent the past three years in the field interfacing with students of all ages and ranges in their liberal arts subjects!

How did you get started teaching?
I have always been deeply interested in the humanities and liberal arts since my own literary awakening as a teenager, and it is superlatively fulfilling when I am able to share my passion for the "text" with young students, in whom I often see myself.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with mostly middle and high school level students, though I have also had great success working with young elementary schoolers. I can also provide highly competent aid to college students taking English composition and literature courses.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Going to the beach and penning some poetic verse in Latin, which I am currently learning.
