Tutor Theory is run by two sisters who are in the STEM field. We provides guidance and tutoring in a variety of subjects. I have tutored students across classroom settings and one-on-one sessions from charter to public schools as well as teaching extracurricular programs throughout the tri state area. Within the suburbs and private schools of New York City and am taking my experience to the Brevard County area. I have a total of almost 6 years of experience. I am currently working as an SWE so STEM is a part of my daily life. In these hard times, schooling can be stressful for students, and we want to foster a safe and productive learning environment so that your child can succeed.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We would like to meet the student at their level and pinpoint where they are having trouble within the subject material. From there, we can build a plan for continuous improvement based on their needs
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have a Bachelors in Comp. Engineering and am currently pursuing a Masters in SYS Engineering and a Bachelors in Biology

How did you get started teaching?
I have taught within classroom setting for charter and public schools as well as one on one tutoring. I have tutored in various subject matters including Basic Math through AP Calculus as well as Chemistry.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Finding the right teacher is a hard task. In these times, we all want to make sure we create a safe and productive environment for the student. Take your time, do your research, and ask as many questions as you can.
