About
I have experience tutoring all ages, most recently college level students. I try to practice patience, as I feel that is the #1 key to sucess with math. I try to be as thorough as possible, since math usually is a commulitative subject, meaning you need to take previous knowledge and apply it to new lessons. I strongly believe that I can help any student :) I have loved math all my life, and being able to be a tutor for College students have really sparked my passion for it even more!
The thing I enjoy most is seeing a student succeed. I give it my all when I tutor, so when I see my students doing the same and returning to tell me that they did great on their tests, quizzes, or even homework, I get extremely proud and excited! Seeing others do well is a gift within itself.

How did you get started teaching?
I realized that I was pretty good at math and that many people weren't. Many people would ask me questions, and I always loved answering their questions. I completely understand that not everyone is a math person, so it would be wrong of me not to share my knowledge. The more I got to explaining math and seeing my friends do better in their exams, the more I loved it. I started tutoring as an official job this past August of 2016, and have loved every minute of it!
What types of students have you worked with?
Younger age group: 8-12
Teens: 13-17 years old
College Students: 17-80 years old! (Meaning that I've worked with all types of ages!)
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was working at the tutoring floor, and I had a student tap me on my shoulder. Then, they say, "thanks to you I understand college mathematics! I come to tutoring just for your explanations because you're so thorough and patient with me." I have gotten a few of these comments, and they always mean so much to me.
