I am extremely passionate in helping students to succeed in mathematics of various levels. I am purely self-taught in mathematics and since high school have not scored lower than an A in every math class I have taken. In college I always excelled in my math courses as I have a knack for numbers and formulas. I will try my hardest to help you succeed in whatever courses you need help in and will respond as quickly as I possibly can. I believe that mathematics is an integral part of a student's education and I will strive to make sure that each student excels.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I make sure to talk to each student and have them explain exactly what they need help with and make sure that I understand completely their needs. From there I work them through their issues and make sure that they fully understand the necessary steps to properly complete each problem.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have always excelled in mathematics throughout my education and I really developed a love for it during college. My math professors always were amazed with how quickly I was able to pick up each new topic and always expected me to get a perfect score on every assignment. I never recieved less than an A in each mathematics course I have taken since high school.
How did you get started teaching?
I originally started out helping fellow classmates and friends who were in need of help and I always enjoyed working through problems with them so the next logical step was to start tutoring.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students in high school as well as college students from all levels of mathematics.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I remember in my Precalculus/Trigonometry class, we had a rocket project that required us to work in a group. My group member was having some issues with determining some of the calculations so him and I worked it through and eventually solved them all and I will never forget the smile on his face after we were able to reach the end.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a tutor in your area of expertise?
Make sure you know exactly the issues you need help with and to explain them to the best of your abilities so the tutor can fully understand and work with you to master those tricky topics.
What questions should students think through before talking to tutors about their needs?
As stated before, they should think about the exact issues that they need help with and hopefully to ask the tutors the necessary steps needed to solve those issues and not just ask the tutor to solve it for them without learning the proper technique to solving that issue.
