Math Fundamentals
About
Many students are not taught the requisite fundamental math knowledge to make it basic as pie to find solutions. I love filling this gap, and delight in seeing my students with a new calm, confident approach to mathematics problems, based on understanding the fundamentals behind the problem. There is no need to memorise formulae if you can derive them from fundamentals.
I have a BA degree in pure Mathematics (1984), and have since researched mathematics concepts implications, particularly the non-obvious.
I have also taught across different cultures, including Asia.
Multiple Mathematics problems are rooted in the same fundamentals. Rather than wrestle with the problem at its level, a fundamentals basis approach makes solving them as natural as a walk in the park. I enjoy the serenity, and students' natural pre-disposed receptiveness...
