Teaching/tutoring is my ultimate passion (been doing it for 7 years or so). I have undergone CTLA training programs during my years tutoring while an undergrad student myself, and I have been privately tutoring since high school. I have tutored students in all grade levels, from elementary school to college. And, I am flexible with pay (not trying to rob you, just trying to help). You should hire me because I’m a very good tutor. I think I was meant to teach. I am a clear communicator and very easy to work with and learn from. This is my 32nd year in teaching. I have taught all grades and levels. I currently teach at a local college. My speciality is in math, chemistry, physics and statistics. I communicate the concept very well and students do great. I prepare the students for any standardized test such as SAT, ACT, GRE, CLEP, TEAS, ASVAB, GED, GK, FTCE, and Advanced Place (AP) Exam. Our sessions are one and one unless if you request group sessions. I love teaching. I love working with students - in person or online. I have materials, books, manipulatives, examples of quizzes and tests to help students feel confident. I want my students to feel they really understand the math. There is a process to understanding and many students have gaps or have missed concepts. I can teach specific concepts but I prefer students have an understanding of why the math problem can be solved in many different ways.
