About
I believe that all children can learn. As an educator, it is our job to unlock their learning potential. Children are empowered when they feel successful. Instruction consists of working one- on- one with students, utilizing proven programs that keeps your child engaged, while improving thier overall performance. Programs include, but not limited to: FSA prep (state standardized test) "I-Ready" Reading/Math Readworks.org Reflexmath ( build math fluency)
I truly enjoy working with students, helping them to discover their true potential. I have been teaching students for 15 years and realize most students learn best in small group settings, especially when it's one on one.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process begins with an interview with both the student and the parent. I want to know how the student feels about their own learning and I want the parent to be present.
Current data from students school is then collected and explained to both the parent and the students as we discuss strategies to grow from there. An initial assessment may be given if student doesn't have current assessment data from their school.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified K-6 Elementary student that is both Reading and Esol endorsed.
