About
I am proficient in a myriad of math levels and humanities subjects. Below are lists of material I cover, though I am confident that if it is not below I have some background on it.
Math: Algebra I and II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus AB, Calculus BC Statistics
Social Sciences/Humanities: Micro/Macroeconomics, US History, Art History, English Literature, Language and Composition, Public Speaking, Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, and Physics
Not only have I learned these subjects as a student, but also as an instructor. I have experience as a Mathnasium instructor for about six months working with students as young as first graders to as old as college students.
The student’s grasp of the material is of paramount concern. As your tutor, my job is not to simply cover the material; it is to address the gaps in understanding. What distinguishes my instruction from others’ is my commitment to the student and the learning process.
I love learning and the insight it imparts to those who understand. I have experienced the frustration as a student and helping others work through those roadblocks is why I pride myself as a natural-born communicator. Cultivating lifelong learners is a priority of mine and tutoring is the perfect platform that integrates communication, interpersonal relationships, and education.
