My service stands out because I am able to give individualized lessons, content specific, to each student I tutor. Considering math is foundational, building up confidence and routine is my main priority and focus. When helping students understand new or old material, I tap into their personal interests and make the math relatable. This skill alone makes me unique compared to others in the market. I have worked closely with so many different children, on so many different levels, that I have mastered the ability to meet them where they are academically, and help them get to where they need to be.
I love helping students get that " A HA!" feeling the most. It is so gratifying to know that I am the reason a concept is mastered. After teaching various curriculum for grades 6-12, I am very comfortable teaching math of any grade level. I am looking forward to helping more students enhance their math knowledge.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A typical first day meet will be to talk to them about their math class and history with math. Every student has an individual and personalized experience that only they can explain. I want to understand their level of comfort and help them understand that no one is good at most things the first time they try it. Encouraging them to try and to not be afraid of learning is important to me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an extensive training and math background. To start I have always tutored math, throughout college and after. So I have 13+ yrs total of experience tutoring. I also have been teaching Math in Florida for 9 years, both Middle and Highschool level. Not to mention my Bachelor of Science degree from Bridgewater State University, in Bridgewater MA, is focused in Mathematics.

My standard pricing is based on age, level and accessibility. I offer discounts for multiple hours and/or consecutive hours weekly as well as a family discount for siblings.
