About
I am a high school senior looking to provide help and guide elementary and middle school students towards success! I am in the New Port Richey and Palm Harbor area, willing to meet in a public place or at your home. I am in a rigorous program that is a part of my high school (IB) and will be able to help students develop new skills and grow an affinity for the subjects they struggle in. I will also be able to help with their organizational skills in subject areas, such as math, reading, writing and science.
I enjoy taking on challenges and developing new methods and techniques to various styles of problems. That being said, I love to share these skills with students and seeing them understand a subject from a new perspective.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first get to know the student and understand their style of learning and where they struggle in the most. Then I will see what they struggle with the most and develop skills and techniques to help them gain a deeper and better understanding of the subject.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am in the International Baccalaureate program, a very rigourous four year program that is a part of my high school. Through this program, I've learned how to manage time best and develop effective and efficient learning and study habits.
How did you get started teaching?
I became more engaged with the younger youth in my church who constantly come to me for academic help.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've helped elementary and middle school students with homework at my church.
