About
Student-oriented focus - I meet the student where they are and we work with the student and their current level of understanding.
Outstanding explanation of concepts and skills - There are about 4 or 5 ways that you could solve every single math problem. I am usually good to give them the different ways until we find one that "sticks" witht he student.
In the online environment, I use "their problems" when working with a student and I am marking up their work virtually. No more searching for problems on the internet that "kinda seem like my problem" or wasting time teaching yourself concepts.
I'm passionate about helping students with Math. I'm a certified Math teacher and I have taught at both the middle school and high school levels. I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Probability and Statistics Honors at the high school level. Also, I'm certified to teach AP Statistics.
I enjoy helping students (and their parents) with getting the student to the "next level" whether that means getting a High School Diploma or getting into the college of their choice.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always starts with having a free conversation about what they think about the subject.and how they like it. Then I have a free conversation with the parents and guardians about what they want as an outcome and the time-frame that they are looking for that outcome. Then we work together to figure out a frequency and cost schedule that works for both of us.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a certified teacher in Pasco County who teaches at the high school level. I've taught classes in Algebra 1, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus. I'm also certified to teach AP Statistcs. I'very also taught classes on SAT prep and LSAT prep.
