Tutopia has a rigorous selection process for our instructors and requires our tutors to develop a relationship with their students to grow and excel over time using proven methods.
With over 20 years of combined experience on the East coast from GA, to Washington D.C., and right here at home in FL, we have been evaluated and certified as highly qualified educators. We are undaunted by innovating instruction for the 21st century learner and the remote learner. We have been recognized as accomplished Teachers of the Month by our cities, and Teachers of the Year by our schools. We have been awarded as Legacy Educators, and are awarded each day by our students' achievement.

We utilize theory and research based practices, along with the recommendations of the parents/guardian, and school data on the children's current ability level, to customize a learning plan for achievement, build applicable skills, and create opportunities of advancement for our students.

How did you get started teaching?
The founders of Tutopia got their start teaching at the former Marian Wright Edelman Center of their alma mater, Spelman College.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with students of all age levels and demographics, from VPK through grade 12.
