About
After being a successful student in the renowned International Baccalaureate program, I became passionate about bringing education to all children in need. I understood the enlightenment and satisfaction which comes with dedication, hard work, and thus gratifying results. Now, as I proceed to higher education, I wish to help other students progress through the educational system. I have a deep understanding of topics from Science, Foreign Language, English, and Social Sciences as I have taken 16 courses in International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement and am willing to help from the lower to higher level focus of these courses. As well, I am skilled in essay writing and editing for colleges. I also am very skilled in studying for the SAT reading and grammar portion and scored highly on both. I hope to share my intellect with those in need, and support other motivated children to do the same.
I enjoy spending time with each student, understanding their personality and work ethic, and formating my teaching style to ensure the best results possible. I understand the multiple types of learning styles, auditory, visual, social, logic, etc. after my experience with others. Most of all, I appreciate the smiles of the students and parents alike when seeing hard work transform into rewarding results.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
At first, I like to do a diagnostic test to understand where the student's level is and what needs extra understanding. Then, I work to understand the optimal learning style for the child. This can be through visual, auditory, or verbal. After understanding the learning style, I work to ensure the lesson is taught in connection to it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a hard-working student all throughout high school and middle school, working in the International Baccalaureate program since the 6th grade. I am now a senior planning to attend an Ivy League University next fall. I am a highly awarded student, including Principal's Honor Roll, Questbridge Scholar, Advanced Placement Scholar, Posse Scholar, and Silver Knight Nominee for community service. Furthermore, I succeed in test taking, and have recieved five 5's on my Advanced Placement exams (including European History, English and Language, English and Literature, United States History, and Psychology)and a 7 in my International Baccalaureate exam in Social Anthropology.
