I have more than 15 years of experience helping Elementary and Middle school students learn and apply strategies to succeed in math and reading.
I use various tools to assess every child and provide accurate feedback and an individualized plan.
Students meet at least twice a week following a step-by-step program that targets their specific needs.
I also offer homework help, and test preparation.
My students recover their confidence and their love for learning :)

Our learning system has three pillars: MINDSET, ASSESSMENT, UNDERSTANDING

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
1. Master's Degree in Special Education grades K to 12 from University of Phoenix
2. Florida Certified Teacher in Special Ed (K-12), and Math grades 5 to 12.
3. Bachelor's in Business Administration, major Finance. Knowledge of Stocks Market Trading strategies and analysis, and Technical indicators.
4. Vast experience in advancing students in Math at the school and college levels
5. Vast experience in helping elementary level students to learn to read.
6. Bilingual: English and Spanish

How did you get started teaching?
I have worked educating children for more than 20 years. Had my own Family Daycare and have been tutoring for more than ten years. Worked as substitute teacher while getting my Master Degree and Teaching Certificate. Had worked as an adult educator for more than 8 years for Miami-Dade College and the Department of Children and Families, and for Miami-Dade County School District. Had taught Intensive Math, Algebra 1 and 2, Math for College Readiness and ESOL to children and adults.

Have worked with students from Pre-K to Master Degree levels, and children with disabilities.
