Ivan Lopez Quantitative Tools Tutoring
Quantitative tools like math, algebra, statistics, geometry, calculus, linear algebra are very useful, but we face hard times while we try to understand them. I think the main reason for this is in the learning method. We need to know the basis, experiment with them, simulate, in order to obtain a deep knoledge, and these is where I try to focus as tutor, create strong basis that allow to substitute memorizing by analizing and address us to better results.
I enjoy using tool like excel, R, data bases, simulation, DOE in order to find more productive path to learning and, at the same time, enjoy thre process.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Is always better when I get information about the student needs, to check if my help will be significative. If I think I can be a good help for the student, I try to evaluate the students level , and style of learning, adjusting my work around them.
