What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Within the first 15 minutes, I will know exactly the level of the student. Thru simple questions, the student will be asked to demonstrate his or her knowledge.
Once a student demonstrates knowledge, then more challenging questions will be asked.
All kinds of idea, tips and short cuts will be given to the student to improve problem solving.
I will explain in a very simple yet effective manner the topics to be covered.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In college, I obtained an AA degree in Psychology, an AS degree in EMT/Paramedic, a BA in Natural Science and a MA in Mathematics.

How did you get started teaching?
After college, I was ready to start medical school and take the USMLE boards.
But I decided to change paths and entered education to help others.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types, all ages, all backgrounds.
From age 5 to age 70.
From beginning students to returning students.
From struggling students to gifted students.
I will give you all the knowledge I have in order for you to understand the material and get high points come test day.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
When I'm not teaching, my second passion is cycling.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look at prices, availability, experience, goodness of fit, background.
Hire an expert. If I can't help you during the session, there is no charge.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Make sure you hire a teacher that is vell versed in the material, that has gone thru what you are going thru.
