About
Improving students grades and making learning gains is our goal! We have tutored many students before from the elementary level all the way through college! All our tutors went through rigorous programs such as Cambridge, Dual Enrollment, IB and AP Programs. A few of our tutors passed their Algebra 1 and Geometry EOCs with perfect scores and some of our tutors are DCF Certified as well.
We absolutely love being able to see students master topics that they came to us struggling with. It is such a rewarding job and we definitely put in the extra work for each child as their comprehension of topics is our goal.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The typical process for working with a new student is to have a first introductional call to know what they would like more help on. This helps establish when and what we will be reviewing in tutoring sessions. I believe it's very important to establish good communication between students, parents and the tutor so you can definitely text me at any time about homework, reviews, distance learning assignments and I will get back to you immediately at no additional cost! My main goal is to see improvement and I will definitely put in the extra work and whatever you need in order to suceed!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently taking AP Calculus in highschool. I passed my Algebra and Geometry EOCs in middle school with perfect scores. Algebra is my favorite math and I have lots of experience tutoring it. I have 5 siblings I tutor as well of all ages and maths. I have a few teaching certifications from DCF that I've recieved during my time helping run the preschool my highschool runs.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Due to the recent circumstances where I cannot physically go to help students, they may contact me and we can workout a schedule of when we can contact eachother via calling or messages. Elementary and middle school subjects are tutored an hour per session at $20 a session. Highschool subjects range from $20-$35 an hour. This price includes being able to get 24/7 immediate help via messaging.
How did you get started teaching?
I started from the time my younger brother came up and asked me about his algebra homework. He struggles with math and we started by setting up a schedule and times in which we would dedicate to studying. From there, his friends would come ask for help and we would do the same thing. I also taught at a preschool where I was able to gain experience and certifications.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages, from basic elementary classes and skills up until college level classes. Ive always gotten good reviews and many come back to tell me of passed tests, essays and classes!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
A teacher in my area of expertise must really like working with students and helping them learn. They must be kind and patient as these areas are the basis of all higher level math classes. Also, they must be able to form fun and easy ways of remembering rules and formulas. I learned this from the best of my own teachers
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
"What specifically do I need help on?" Is a good question to start with. If it's everything, that is perfectly OK.. I've had that problem myself and there's nothing wrong with that. If you can give me a topic to start that will be enough to get me started on helping you :)
