- I'm very passionate about academics and Math and English being two of my favorite subjects, I am determined to make others like them as they build the foundation of multiple career paths.
- I have previously tutored while in school and was a volunteer tutor for Math, English and Value education for a government school in India.
- I am an international student at the University of Miami pursuing a double major in Finance and Economics with a minor in French. I've graduated from school with an IB diploma. I work at a consulting firm during the summer and online when I am at university.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
- Talking to the student about the particular problem area and going over the entire topic briefly after.
- Teaching the problem topic/entire topic in detail and solving examples
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- I have graduated from Mathematics Higher Level from IB and have received an A grade in univeristy Math requirement up to Calculus II, and as a Finance major, math is a core to my subject.
- I have studied English standard level from IB and have finished English language requirement at university. Being passionate about English, I have taken English elective classes as well and I am an avid reader.
- I have tutored for English and Math to children at a government school in India and I am experiened in being patient as the children I taught had no/very basic knowledge of English and Math

- 25$/hour (Price is negotiable/changeable based on difficult level and number of hours or time of the week)
How did you get started teaching?
- Hailing from an academic intensive family, everyone in my family from my grandfather's generation to now has taken up some role to contribute towards academics.
- I am passionate about education and I believe in its strenght and power to change a person. Subjects like Math and English are basic to human life in today's world and I'd like to help someone get better at it.
What types of students have you worked with?
- I have worked previously with children of age 6-8 and other people who are roughly 1-3 years younger to me as I tutored my juniors during school.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
- I have travelled a lot in the past year from Hong Kong to London to Miami and have multiple stories to tell about my travels.
- One that particularly remains close to my heart is adopting two dogs this year, saving them from abuse and nursing them back to health. They are like my babies and remain close my heart even though they are back home.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
- To make sure you once read through stuff you are having difficulty with and being patient. Believe in yourself, it will be very easy to do it once we go through it together so do not give up yet.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
- If it is impossible or just difficult ?
- I'm a student as well, so do not be afraid of asking any question, no matter how silly/absurd/ridiculous it is, because I'm pretty sure I got here by asking them as well
