About this tutor

I have a great positive attitude towards learning. I know every student has potential, I can help them reach it! I am a FL certified 2nd grade teacher with a bachelors degree in education.

I have an intense passion for education and teaching. I have dedicated all of my education and training towards the teaching profession. Seeing students light up when every thing "clicks" is the most rewarding feeling in this world.

Naomi has been tutoring and creating a homeschool curriculum/ program for my 4th grade son and 1st grade daughter for the last year. She has a lot of subject knowledge and has made it possible for me to homeschool my kids as a working single mom during this pandemic.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I will then administer a baseline assessment on the first session and work with the student completeing any homework or assignments that I have created to facilitate understanding and comprehension of the subject(s) they need assistance with.

- 2 years of ESOL teaching experience

- 120 hour TESOL certification

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

When I was a child, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I graduated high school and began my career in the education field by working at summer schools. During my second year of college, I began working as an ESL teacher and received my TESOL certification.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with students who have learning disabilities and general ed students who need some enrichment and practice from grades kindergarten to 6th grade.
