I have extensive experience in tutoring as I have been a private tutor for the past six years in the subjects of Math, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. I have tutored students at a variety of ages and have helped them achieve their academic goals. I pride myself on creating a positive learning environment and using innovative methods to encourage students to participate. I am fully dedicated to my job as a tutor and I ensure that I give students all the materials that they need to succeed. This includes creating worksheets and practice test to ensure that they understand what I am teaching.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to communicate with students before hand to find out exactly what they would like to work on and create a lesson specific to their needs. During class I first thoroughly explain and then assign test and worksheets to ensure that the student understands and retains what was taught!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a 3rd year student at Ontario Tech University studying Forensic Biology with a Minor in Chemistry. I have been a private tutor for the past 6 years and have helped many students of all ages gain a better understanding of topics.
