What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The student's studying preferences and habits will be taken into consideration. The WellBalanced Tutor is not being paid to change the student's studying habits. They are there to make the student feel comfortable with the knowledge they have and gain more knowledge in order to succeed.
Normal process would figuring out what the student knows. Go over the content they need assistance in and practice. Depending on the student and on the subject depends on how we go over the information and how we practice or apply it.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing can vary depending on what the student can afford, the subject, and the satisfaction from the tutoring session.
The standard price would be $20 dollars an hour. Sessions can be less than an hour and the price will reflect such time. If the student is satisfied with the service a gratuity would not be declined.
