I have I have a passion for Middle School Math and Algebra, however I am certified to teach from 6-12 Mathematics in Florida. I have tutored 6th grade - Geometry.
I have been teaching 7th grade Regular and 7th grade Advanced for six years. I also taught Algebra for three years.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I talk with the student and the parents to help determine strengths and opportunities, then I review any work the student has from class. We work together using their class work and additional resources to work on opportunities and build on their strengths.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master’s degree in Math Education from the University of Florida. I have been working in Palm beach county schools for seven years.

I charge $50/hour for one student.
How did you get started teaching?
I’ve always loved math and after volunteering in my daughter’s classroom I fell in love with teaching.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with all levels of students, from ESE inclusion - gifted. I have tutored 6th grade - Geometry. I am certified to teach 6th grade and up.
