What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start by asking questions and learning what the student wants to accomplish and what degree of effort she/he is willing to exert to attain her/his desired level of accomplishment.
Learning is an interactive joint effort. I'll do my part-You must do your part
Each student brings his/her own abilities, desires, fears and goals, so each student is treated differently based on who you are
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been trained at Boston University and Harvard Business School and have had a successful business career.
I taught finance at Boston College and trained many people as an owner of successful businesses
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $50 per session in my office and $60 per session in your home.The first lesson is free if you choose not to have more sessions with me.You have nothing to lose!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I'd suggest you choose a tutor who is very unlike you but with whom you feel you can develop a respect for his level of expertise in your chosen subject.
