About
I enjoy learning how students process information and teaching them concepts using technology, music and video games, for elementary school students. For middle school students, I engage them with a combination of instructional videos, traditional learning and video gaming. At the high school and college level, the focus is on intensive understanding of concepts and practical application of each concept.
Also at each grade level, students are given pre, mid, and post assessments to establish benchmarks and determine their growth areas by subject.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first start with giving students a grade level assessment to see where students are academically. From thier, I formulate specialized lesson plans that contain the key skills identified and creative ways to teach those skills using vocabulary songs and common core based video games which focus on the skills needed for success.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been trained as a Learning Styles Specialist, Math Specialist, and Reading Specialist as well as a Special Education Instructor
