About
I am currently a behavioral neuroscientist, and am so passionate about mentoring young scientists. I received my bachelor's in neuroscience and journalism, and I am receiving my masters in clinical psychopharmacology. I was a TA for an intro to journalism class as well, so I have a multitude of experiences and I look forward to helping you reach your academic dreams!
I have mentored both highschool and college students and it has been my absolute passion. I struggled in highschool and felt that all was lost in my academic career. Now, after receiving my bachelors and masters, I am ready to pass my knowledge on to others that may need it. I never want a student to feel as discouraged as I was, and I am ready to help any way I can.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would like to start getting to know the student and their goals, and then go at their own pace. I understand what it is like to struggle and am ready to help my student with whatever they need.

How did you get started teaching?
I was a TA during my undergraduate education in journalism, and I have also mentored students in subjects such as, psychology and neuroscience. My dream is to become a college professor after working with students and helping them reach their academic goals.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with highschool and college students that struggle with the english language, as well as biology, chemistry, neuroscience and psychology.
