About
I am an incoming PhD student in Comparative Literature at Northwestern and I hold a BA from Harvard University and an MA from UChicago. I have 4+ years of tutoring experience and my specialties are in English, Reading, Writing, and Spanish. I also offer advising in writing college applications, resumes/CVs, Cover Letters, internship applications, and scholarship essays. I have worked remotely with 20+ students over the past few years, from the elementary to high school level as well as with college students and adults. Because of my familiarity with higher education, I am also open to provide coaching in college advising and career planning. Overall, I hope I can serve as a resource to you and your family :)
A little about me! I love teaching and I especially love working with students 1 on 1. With all my students, I work collaboratively to develop a tailored plan for their personal needs and goals, while incorporating parent feedback. I'm a very down to earth person and know that sometimes life can be very stressful and very busy! As a tutor, I do my best to make sure our sessions are fun, informative, and balanced. If you're interested, I am happy to do a phone call (free of charge) so you can get to know me and decide if we will be a good fit!
