What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first schedule a call with the client and/or parent in order to identify short-term and long-term goals for tutoring, current challenges to achieving those goals, and to present different options for support. During the first few sessions, I observe and evaluate the client's strengths and opportunities for growth, and tailor my approach to their specific needs.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $25/hour for one-on-one sessions, and for each hour spent editing drafts.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with a diverse range of students, from elementary to graduate school. I particularly excel with clients who have learning differences, as my own experience with dyslexia gives me a unique perspective. I understand the challenges these students face and the importance of empathy and support. I’m committed to providing tailored, practical strategies that help break down complex tasks, enabling students to navigate their learning journeys with confidence.
