Thomas Mathematics Tutoring
About
I am currently a college student and understand firsthand the types of difficulties high school students struggle with in mathematics.
I love finding what makes the mathematics "click" in a students mind. I often find that many learn to enjoy math once they have a true understanding of what they're learning. There's nothing like getting a student to see the beauty behind the mathematics they're learning.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to learn about what specifically works for them. Not every student functions and processes the same, and thus general teaching is not effective for many students. In addition to this, I like to teach problem solving skills instead of simply providing a student with the answers. Lastly I focus on providing practice problems. In math, there are a variety of problem sets that could show up on any exam. Taking the time to go through these problems fully equips students with ability to get the highest marks possible.
