About
With degrees from New England Conservatory and Yale University, I have a deep commitment to education and consider learning a lifelong pursuit. My degrees are in music, but during my formal education I also explored classes in literature, linguistics, foreign languages, and the sciences. My experience with students ranges from running a classroom to private teaching and tutoring. I am currently working on a doctorate at UConn, and academic writing is part of my everyday life.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It's important for me to not only find out what issues present themselves to the student, but also to make sure how to help them create a mindset and attitude of positive perseverance. I believe exploration is the best way to learn and create long term results.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
It is important for students to understand what problems they tend to encounter, but equally important for students to take stock of their strengths. When they know their strengths and what works for them, they set themselves up for improvement and success.
