I am a college student who is taking classes to become a future English teacher with plans to become an English Professor in the future. I have a strong practice in creative writing, as well as fiction essays and basic essay help. I will be graduating in a year with a degree in Education and concentration in English. I can help elementary grade with basic writing skills such as introduction to paragraphs and sentence starters. I also enjoy helping high school or freshmen in college with essays. I was a writing tutor at my University for freshmen before the pandemic.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will first like to get to know my student to learn their strengths and weakness as a writer. From there I like to find out what exactly my student feels they need help with. I ask the student to send me a piece of their past writing for me to review to better see what help I can provide.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a junior with a major in Education to become a teacher and a concentration in English. I have taken teaching courses as well as English writing and grammar courses to gain my bachelor's degree.

I understand times are very difficult due to the pandemic, I begin at $12/hour. I was getting paid minimum wage at my school which was $13-15/ an hour.
