I have been tutoring children and high school students for many years and am currently a 4th grade teacher. I graduated cum laude from Stony Brook University and am completing my Masters in Childhood Education at LIU Riverhead. I have a great deal of experience both volunteering and working in classroom settings and have experience teaching traditional learners as well as those with developmental disabilities (especially Autism) and learning disabilities (especially ADD/ADHD). I am able to make learning entertaining and engaging and make complicated concepts easier to understand. I tutor all subjects for elementary and middle school students, but am especially adept at teaching reading and writing. For high school students, I tutor Math (Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and Statistics), French 1-French 3, AP and regular US history, AP and regular World History, AP and regular Psychology, English/ELA (including AP Literature and AP Composition), SAT and ACT.
