I live for that realization made by the student that goes like "oh, well this really isn't that hard!" or "this is a lot simpler than I was making it." I try to go step by step through solutions to show math can be quite simple when you break it down!

I really like teaching subjects I am passionate about like mathematics as it plays a big part in my studies as a civil engineer. Math is one of those subject areas where lacking a good foundation can cause frusturation later on in a student's studies, so I really like to teach with a "no assumptions" mindset about what the student knows or doesn't know. I love creating a top-down comprehension for the student by not skipping any important parts of the solution and explaining every step in as much detail as the student needs :)
