With compassion and enthusiasm I help students from grades 4 through 12 realize their potential. I support students academically, emotionally, and socially. Many of my students have diagnosed learning differences and benefit from different approaches to subject matter. I have a master's in Special Education and am a registered educational therapist. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I have a conversation with the student about what subjects or skills they feel are strengths and where their struggles lie. We talk about short term and long term goals. I explain a bit about the process and answer questions and address concerns
