McCombs Math Tutoring

I've been a teacher for over eight years now, split evenly between teaching at the college level and high school level. Aside from teaching experience, I have been a private tutor for well over 15 years. I started in college, tutoring local middle and high school students, and have been doing it since. Whether in a classroom or in a private tutoring session, I believe in creating a comfortable, mistake-friendly environment, one in which the student knows it's okay to try and not succeed, as long as they learn from that mistake. Math anxiety is real and I specialize in helping students build their confidence in both themselves and their ability to do math at the pace they need.
