I am in the process of being certified for Early Childhood Education (birth-2nd grade) and Childhood Education (1st-6th grade). I have an extensive background in Elementary subjects and how to create fun, engaging, and effective lessons. I know how to differentiate within these subjects to meet the needs of all learners.
For higher learners, I was a writing tutor during my time in college. I love to write myself and my passion allows me to help others with writing. I have experience editing/proofreading essays, helping writers with grammar, organizing writing, and helping with ideas.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to first talk to my new student or the student's parent to learn more about the student - their needs, strengths, interests, dislikes, learning styles, goals, school environment, and any other helpful information. From there I can create the best possible plan for my students in order to meet their needs. We will also work together to create a schedule.
