About
I provide personalized tutoring to a variety of age and ability levels, on a flexible schedule as needed. My experience as a student has given me insights into how to explain things and work with a student until understanding is achieved.
Though my degree is not in math, I am truly passionate about it, having taken the advanced courses since 7th grade. I value education greatly,and achieved both saluratorian (high school) and summa cum laude (college) statuses.
I absolutely love math and the process of finding the answer. I try to teach my students that same enthusiasm and it is so rewarding to watch a student who hates the subject and is scared of it slowly build confidence and ability.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I spend time getting to know the student to gauge what they already may know and what specifically ia confusing them,while making sure they do not feel bad or embarrassed about needing a tutor. I focus on showing them how to understand the process so that they can learn the concept and apply it in their future.
