Hi I love working with children of all ages! My favorite part about tutoring is when you can see that it clicks with the student it's like a lightbulb flashes on and they get so proud of them selfs! I love creative writing and reading stories! I'm outgoing and fun i like to incorporate brain breaks as well! I've been a tutor through americorps for 1 year now and I plan on going to school to be a teacher !

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first day I like to take at least half of our time getting to know each other I have get to know me sheets that I really like using ! We go over there hopes and goals and some expectations we follow! After that we get started on some fun and easy work !
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I got trained as a reading corps tutor through americorps I was tutoring kids in school k-3

I was a nanny for like 6 years and then I decided that I really like teaching kids so I got started with americorps a year 1/2 ago !
